ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE: THE MAN WHO GAVE RISE TO NEW INDIA ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE(25 December 1924 – 16 August 2018) was a politician & poet. He was the 10 th prime minister of India. He served as the prime minister of India for three terms, first for a period of thirteen days in 1996, then for 13 months from 1998 to 1999, and finally for the full tenure of 5 years from 1999 to 2004. He formed a political party named BHARTIYA JANATA PARTY on 6 April 1980 with Bhairon singh shekhawat & Lal krishna advani . He did his studies from Maharani Laxmi Bai Govt. College of Excellence . He wrote books such as Meri Ekyavan kavitayen , Twenty One Poems, Decisive Days, Chuni Hui Kavitayen ,Five- Decades in Parliament , Sankalp-Kaal, A Constructive Parliamentariar, etc. He belonged to a middle-class family.
