THE HISTORY OF IPL: THE STORY TILL 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) is held recently. This is one of the most difficult yet most loved leagues all over the world. It is no wonder that the brand value of IPL is Rs. 475 billion. This league gives players a chance to showcase their talent. It is a professional t- twenty League organized in India every year. Many players from all over the world and India compete against each other and play for 8 teams who represent eight cities/states of India. These teams are named Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB), Kings XI Punjab(KXIP) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) The first-ever IPL match was played on 18th April 2008.
