CDS BIPIN RAWAT DIES OF A HELICOPTER CRASH Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat dies due to a helicopter crash with 12 others that includes his wife. They were carried by an Indian Air Force helicopter. The crash took place in Ooty of Tamil Nadu, the crash took place at about 12:20 PM on 8th December 2021, the reason behind the crash of the helicopter is not clear but according to some official sources, the accident may have taken place because of foggy conditions over there.
